Our Story

While on vacation in Miami in August 2012, David and Rebecca Flinchum, ended up sharing some pizza with a homeless man on the street.  As David and Rebecca walked away, they looked back and saw that he was already eating the pizza.  At that moment, God birthed a desire to reach out to the homeless community and others struggling with poverty.

Moved from the experience in Miami, David and Rebecca started handing out shoebox/care packages at sporting events they attended.  The Flinchum's would distribute the care packages to homeless individuals near the stadium or downtown location of the event.

These shoeboxes were filled with food, personal hygiene necessities, a bible, and other essential items.

Since the initial shoeboxes at sporting events, the Flinchum’s have teamed up with churches, ministries, and other individuals to expand the vision into other venues.  This partnership has provided an opportunity to distribute these items on a larger scale.  So far over 8,000 care packages have been distributed to people in need!
